Brandon Arvay
Front Ensemble Tech

A native of South Carolina, Brandon Arvay is an active educator and performer in South Carolina and Illinois. While studying with Professors Dr. Scott Herring and James Hall at the University of South Carolina, Brandon has performed with many well-known performers, including So Percussion, Anders Astrand, Susan Powell, Joseph Krygier, and Marvin Hamlisch. He has also performed with many of the university’s major ensembles, including the USC Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, USC Symphony Orchestra, USC Opera, USC Concert Choir, USC University Chorus, USC Chamber Winds, and the USC Percussion Ensemble. He has performed with the Palmetto Concert Band at the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago, Illinois.

Brandon is a past member of the Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps, where he played timpani in the 2006 and 2008 seasons. As an educator, Brandon has taught at the following schools: Ridge View High School, Gilbert High School, Boiling Springs High School, Spring Valley High School, Salem Community High School, Summit Parkway Middle School, Longleaf Middle School, and Pikney Elementary School. Brandon also served as the tenor technician for the Verdigris Indoor Ensemble and as instructor for the University of South Carolina Summer Music Camp Marching Percussion Clinic.
